Watch how Virat Kohli jumps and runs to hug Rohit Sharma after Hitman’s match-winning sixes

Rohit Sharma smoked two sixes off the last two deliveries of the Super Over to help India seal a memorable win against New Zealand in the third T20I of the five-match series at the Seddon Park in Hamilton on Wednesday. With the win, India also registered their first-ever T20I series win over the Black Caps on New Zealand soil in what will go down as a historic achievement for Virat Kohli and Co. While tensions were high during the Super Over, where New Zealand posted 17 runs on board, Rohit made sure to save his best till the last two balls before smashing Tim Southee for back-to-back sixes in the Super Over to help India win the humdinger.

After Rohit slammed Southee over the long-off fence for the match-winning six, not only the Hitman and non-striker KL Rahul celebrated with sheer passion but the likes of Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and others joined the Indian opening duo at the middle of the pitch to celebrate the unforgettable win in Hamilton. While players ran towards Rohit and Rahul, Kohli was seen hugging Rohit in pure joy as the skipper and his deputy embraced India’s nail-biting win over the Black Caps.
